New here, loving it..apparently angered a snake which chased me for 5 minutes...gave up let him kill me and went upstairs to get a soda before rerolling and came down to see myself by my lean to...is there not perma death in this game? or is it only perma when killed by players? Also any tips on beating snakes? I couldn't figure out how to fight

only perma death when you get killed by a player by animals you only get ko ed and sent back to homestead. at early game you better stay away from snakes with higher humors you can kill them easy. Try run away from them or also find a river you can swim over to get rid of them.

Animals do not kill you, they only knock you out. When you awake you will be ported back to your homestead (or Boston if you don't have one), but your inventory will be dropped where you KOd (except equipped items). You will also lose 2 points in random proficiencies (1 each from two different profs).

Great you can leave the silver under the bush 10 titles north 5 titles west and 2titles south but make sure to hide them good
