That was a fair review, although I do hope that one day Salem will have more than a thousand players on at a single time.

What server status pages are you watching ?

Never seen it go above about 600~700 players combined, and this was after big updates.

And of them 600~700 players, about 1/5 of them will be multi-logged accounts/alts.

I tried to play it safe with the player base number. I have never seen the total amount of players go above 500, and with all the alts around I just couldn't tell. I do hope the population increases and that the game evolves to offer more than what we have now. Right now it feels like it's a lot of hermitage vs raiders, with a touch of Treaty banter.

I don't understand what you are saying. I said I hope that more than a thousands people will be on at one time.

Your statement makes one assume it already has 1000 actives when infact it's more likely to be around <500, people like myself often have 2 3 or even 4 accounts logged in at once doing different afk tasks in the background like cutting trees or chopping trees, chipping boulders etc etc.

Does it really matter, L33LEE? Most of us on the forum know that there are less than 1000 people playing. This is just unnecessary arguing.

It does not, the whole point of what I said was that there was less than 1000 people playing the game and that I wish salem could get more people, more people to the point where the total number of players is numbered at over 1000.


I am saying exactly what you are saying, but for some reason you are saying I am stating the opposite, it is quite confusing.

It's semantics. By using a number, some people see an allusion that it is the case. Some people read between the lines too much and are too willing to argue over it (guilty of it in the past here).
