How much piercing power 270, wait 270% i mean.

That's right guys, stats from socketed items are dealing damage on a % basis. you have 100 Piercing power, that means its +100% damage from a thrust.

Raiders enjoy, with simple polished buttons and nails in a whole set (very easy to do), 200YB, you can do this damage too.

Broken ? ***** yes. This games loves raiders.

I don't recall statements from the devs on exactly how effective these items were. Thanks for the numbers, though.

Not a bug. Topic moved to I&I.

While I may agree it is overpowered against animals [but this is also humours' issue], I'm not entirely sure if it is against other players. Basically, they still should have some defence bonus that will lower the damage done. The other thing here is that I don't know what the maximum power and defence bonuses are yet so it may probably be a bit too high with high end artifices, however, I'd still like the combat to be something different than running in circles for too long.

I don't know anything about the victim's defence bonus though. Could be 0/0% as well. :p
The thing here is that I'd wait for people to try and utilize the possible artifices in the best way possible, in both - power and defensive ways and then see how it works.

One could argue that with proper defensive augments that will be leveled out nicely, not to mention guard stance

In haven the difference between armor and no armor could mean taking 0 damage and taking 1.3k damage.
A problem I can see though is this,
5 * sqrt (cyb/10)
5 * sqrt (1000/10)
=50 damage thrust
+270%
135 dmg thrust lol

Oh the victim has no defensive bonus's from the new socketing system.

Still, that really is beside the point, PVP attackers and raiders are now x10 stronger compaired to defenders.

Now were is that picture of someone hitting 31 with stomp.

They hit you with thrust and hit 0 damage ?

No problem, they swap the armor set, and with to hand to hand combat with uppercuts+stomp, and still hit you for 30-50 damage.

jajajajaja we all gonna keep a full set of every type of defense stat maxed, just to defend against the raiders who are all wearing different sets.

Yea, This is were the problem is, 1v1 no problem, armor swapping for the win, my trap card counters your trap card.

2v1, 2 players wearing different sets, enjoy as if they land 1 stun on you, even with 200-300 blood you are going down instantly.

Seems like a joke if you ask me.

Well, you were geared for damage only. Glass cannon. You can deal a lot of damage but will receive as well. Normally you should gear for some defense too

After Trojanz did some testing he found that at 200 yb with an augment of +30 common damage his thrusts were doing 2.5 more damage than when they were unaugmented
