Salem

So I'm a new player here in Salem, doing alright for a newbie I think. I've found a nice little plot of land and the time came for me to finally build my own little hovel. But of course before I start building, I need to level out the ground and make my area nice and flat. I have no trouble doing that and find several traces of the lost colony and I notice a ton of indian arrowheads on my small claim which initially I think is a great find. I happily finish my hovel and start moving crates inside, that's when I notice strange things happening. I didn't think much of it at first, objects moving to other crates and crates being rearranged inside my house. The day before yesterday though things began to escalate, stuff disappearing completely and then reappearing in the crates hours later so I think I'm just going crazy. While cooking on my stove later that day I hear some very weird noises and hear the combat punch and notice I'm taking damage so I run out of the house thinking someone is attacking me but I know nobody was in the house with me, I mean these hovels are small but thankfully it only did 1.6 points of damage. I tell my friends that I'm playing the game with what happened and they tell me it's probably someone glitching and they'll look for tracks although they can't find any no matter how hard they try. Fast-forward to yesterday when I am going about my daily business, I notice my stove is starting to run out of fuel so I go "What the heck, lets see if this works." I throw a singing old log into stove which works and as soon as I did that things went crazy in my house, I was getting punched repeatedly by absolutely nothing and when I tried to move it was like someone was blocking my way even though there wasn't anything there. I got KO'ed and went back inside my house to pick up my things and got the heck out of there. I've been kind of afraid to go back inside my hovel and I'm like 99% sure that it's haunted and burning that log really pissed off whatever is inside the house. Looking back I should have seen the signs and I'm pretty sure now I built my house on an indian burial ground but I wish there were more telltale signs of it being one before I built my house.

So now this begs the question can anything be done? I don't really want to move because of how much work I put into building the house but it's pretty bad when you get KO'ed for being inside your house. Is there a witch or witch hunter that can help cleanse my house? I'm really desperate to find out any answers otherwise I'll just move and forget about my house and the stuff in it, it's not worth it.

Aww too bad, was it on any other server i would have come & slain that witch !

So it was a witch? Were they able to cause these ghosts because I built my house on the burial ground or is it just some skill they have?
