Cyber-Bullying on Salem

I have a problem ATM, I want to play Salem, but my ability to play is being forced to one village or else my characters will die, I have 3 characters all on one server, and I trying to be friendly joined a group with 2 of my 3 characters, I had realized I was being forced to follow their rules no matter what I decide or they will kill my characters, and make sure I cannot leave Boston with any character, this village has a large number of players and many devoted to these rules. I could change server, but I feel this is a short fix considering they have mentioned when they have the ability they will jump from each server, giving a Borg-esque response "assimilate or die".

This may be a ridiculous notion, but I feel I am being bullied about playing a game, I want to enjoy but am being forced to either play by their rules or die trying to enjoy the game.

I don't want this to be a post about "boo whoo" I want to simply ask does paradox or seatribe have any plans to prevent this from happening, or are we simply going to fall prey to this type of player model as the games gets farther along its lifespan, where a game becomes a linear prison cell where enjoyment is snuffed out by other players control of the system?

1st LOL and sorry.

If you feel that this is serious enough then message totalymoo.

I'm not sure you understand how the game works or what cyber bullying is. You always have the option to leave. They can't find you unless you have scents out. They can't monitor boston at all times. They can't really server jump and find you either if you start over. They also wouldn't have the ability to kill you.

No, they have no plans to prevent it. In fact they encourage it. So you will have to either be slave of those people (I assume it's MM tribe), find other place to live, get your characters killed and restart, or just stop playing

Just leave if they don`t have scents on you. If they have then look up "GH is dead" thread in HOB and PMP all over they village.

Well I do see that this is true I find, it sad, I love the game, and I like the idea but if paradox and seatribe plan to monetize on this game its only going to get harder if they allow players too much control over their own game, making it impossible for newer players to find their own place in the game.

If only I knew people well enough setup to match the amount of power these people have acquired, I don't know a group that is aswell setup to even put up that kind of fight, and if they do exist I encourage them to deal with the problem for the same of Salem, and the Devs.

Or get your captors killed, then yourself.
Or just get scammed.
Or just get yourself raided and killed.

If you talk to the not-right people. Large sum of silver is usually involved in those negotiations
