Please don't buy the game

I want it to keep bleeding money out of Chief's pockets

Would be really cool to see developers that cared and capable would take it all over again, regardless of its direction (pve/pvp/crafting etc). At this point making a fresh similar game with graphics and perhaps a different twist would probably be a much better investment and easier in general.

Mainly for the developers that is, this game is long dead and has had a declining playerbase since they took over. The graphics and current state is not ever going to get numbers from the past. JC was able to briefly boost it all with give or take a years worth of updates and a decent investment (coders/marketing etc) but the motivation and direction was lost somewhere in 2016.

This was a fantastic game with some seriously ****** elements that needed some MAJOR tender loving care. My friends and myself regularly reminisce about our times in Salem, and were it still supported, we would likely have returned. It's really sad that such a unique world/system was left to rot.
