half an hour passed phase on the left, then in about an hour was a red moon, and then again for half an hour have passed all phase

Traditionally, the most feared lunar time were eclipses I guess. Maybe Salem could have some kind of solar eclipse - while Light turns into Darkness for some time!

Only fair if we also get a lunar eclipse of some kind, as blood moon is being the most powerful time for those that dwell in the darkness, and this being the opposite, so that at that time darkness becomes lighter. ^^
