So today I saw 5 people streaming salem at one point! One was on plymouth, the others on jamestown. I can understand that it might be safe in jamestown for today, but soon people will just murder. Better yet, these people had noone idea of the dangers. One chat mod said


"It doesn't matter even if he comes he can't do anything because it takes a super high special skill to KO people."

If you're going to stream either do it in Boston or on a scrub character for teaching purposes. Using a main is just never a good idea.

Shame. Ah well, salem is like life. A game of hard lessons that you have to learn yourself.

And... salem gameplay is kinda dry. Not exactly stream worthy imo anyway. It's about what you accomplish, not what you're doing.

Steaming is OK, but you should limit streaming in your base, or at least hide your minimap so other people can't find you that easy. Making videos does that too, I for example know where Eegore lives because of his videos. The positive side about streams/youtube videos is that people who haven't yet played the game see what the game is about. The first thing we do when we hear about a game is to go search youtube for gameplay.
Streaming beginner stuff is a bit boring, People should make more videos about raids and faction wars. and maybe managing a large settlement

Why do i do it? Simple - I like sandbox games and so do my regular viewers on my stream channel.

I know theres Perma Dead, but I'm not worring about it ...Big deal if i die .. .reroll and start again ... Like its that hard?

I do take offense when members of the community are using profanities at a new player, whats your problem?

No one forcing you to watch my stream or anyone else who streams Salem.

Lastly - I'm bring in new players all day long, people watch, say its interesting and wallaaa more newbies for you to murder if your that type, why are you whining?
