Hypothetical or Actual? new way to Raid

What's to stop any Town Mayor from extending his town influence out; leap frogging when necessary to Imminent domain any pclaim in the area... even map grids away?

More- if my guardian stone is no longer directly connected to the Bell... does it still have the same 'weight' if the Bell is paid up in full.

Totally underhanded way to go about it (par for the course in Salem)... but tons easier than assaulting a pclaim... just leap frog my way with Guardian stones and I.D. another claim... no scents... easy peasy...no?

I only need worry about destruction of Town asset via TBF... not like you can just destroy it anytime...

Toss up if this should have gone in Help or Ideas... but as I'm actually pursuing it... lmao...

Called imminent domain and has been used 100's of times. The downside is that you have to pay twice the amount of the total cost of silver of the pclaim. This will require that amount of authority aka flags/boundaries and the pclaim owner will 100% regain his pclaim's worth in his bank account.

Its a lame way, but many people have done it myself included, thats why towns are being used in the first case and the only reason why I adviced you to make one months ago.

Give it a shot. Don't forget to take screenshots and show us your progress.

I bet you call the four humors "biles" :(

1.leap frogging - There is no such mechanic in Salem. You should have stopped writing after "extend."
2.Imminemt Domain - There is no such thing in Salem. It is called EMINENT DOMAIN.
3.Guardian Stone - There is no such thing in Salem. Town authority is extended with Boundary Stones. Fun fact: Jorbtar misspelled the word as "Boundry" and it has never been corrected.

I fail to see the point in nit picking his terminology and his misspelling.
Now if you wanted to criticize his overuse of ellipsis...

I think... wondering... why Meow hasn't banned the lot of you for trying to derail me!

Yeah, spell check sucks; and I use dots when I'm theorizing as if the sentence or thought could go on; but I'm suddenly loss for the 'right' word.

However- I can't see anything of value to the topic at hand from the last two responses that pertained to the POST.

So either contribute to the 'gist'... or STFU... and/or Meow... ban them please.

Thanks so much!

Because your a **** who posts 8 threads a day, 90% of them are complaining about the Ark, or complaining about a raid mechanic asking why it works the way it does.

Im wondering why Meow/Dallene haven't merged all your ***** together into a ***** thread, and restricted you to only posting in that thread.

Back on topic though.. depending on the distance of your town to the target, making a boundry stone trail is a good way to leave a path back to your town for revenge.. its also resource and time intensive..

Simply making a new town would be a slightly higher cost, but much faster and effective. worth the extra silver imo.

So beyond the 'trail' back to my town... there's no downside to Raiding this way.

Actually, what I asked in the original post... was if I disconnected the 'path' from my Bell...

IE- create 3 boundary stones out from town... destroy the first one created (as I make a 4th going forward)... disconnecting me from the Bell... and then continuing to create new ones going out.

That's what I call leap frog... creating new stones and destroying those behind me.

Am I still carrying the weight of the town with me as I go or NOT?

PS. I do make a lot of noise about the ARK. And even after all the noise I've made over the months it hasn't been added to at ALL... not a single ***** piece/board/nail/etc... nothing. You'd think that my having highlighted it; someone would have stepped up to prove me wrong and start finishing it off.

Alas- no.

So you can STFU about this too :)
