This is the third time I've been sent a faulty replacement part for my computer. It's gotten to a point where I just expect parts I order to arrive broken. I ordered a new keyboard for my laptop and the new one arrive with a stuck key, only 3 other functional keys, a broken Q key, and on top of that, it's bent in two places. This damn thing was advertised as new god damnit. Last time it was a monitor I had to replace after my laptop decided to take a leap off my table. The replacement I was sent had a burnt out contact because whoever they got to test it before shipping it didnt bother to pull the power or discharge the residual electricity before unhooking it. I can almost imagine whoever it was going to unhook the monitor, seeing/hearing the spark, and just stuffing the monitor into the packing thinking "IM SURE ITS FINE, NO ONE WILL KNOW!" Is there no pride in ones reputation anymore?

Anyways, real talk here. Take your Salem talk somewhere else, this thread is for real world gripes.

Use a better company. Call them and let them know thats this is the 3rd time then contact better business and let them know you are contacting them. You will get what you order plus free stuff so you drop the complaint.

Working a 8-5 dayjob ***** sucks.

knowing i have not got a day of for 15 days sucks a bit but nothing compared to belgears mums news

My estranged 76 y.o. father who lives over 400 miles away very recently had a stroke and is having a hard time moving the right side of his body or maintaining attention. He also has apparently developed a single delusional memory: that he sold mattresses for years. He otherwise has no bizarre beliefs afterwards but the mattress salesman thing 100% didn't happen; he was in the restaurant business his entire life. The doctor and nurses I've been able to talk to say that the stroke combined with the fact that he drank excessively and smoked at least 2 packs of unfiltered Camels every day for almost 60 years, AND hadn't been to the doctor in over 40 years and thus has severe unaddressed heart disease means his prognosis is very poor.

We weren't close, but now I'm having to talk to his "real family" (from his first marriage) and it's extremely awkward. I would email him about every 1.5-2 months (mainly because my mother said I would irrationally feel guilty forever if he died and I hadn't talked to him in a long time) but decided to call out of routine because it was my 31st birthday the next day and I figured that would be an OK conversation starter. It just so happened I was the one who contacted him first as he was lying on the kitchen floor not sure where or who he was at the time, despite the fact that the kids he had from his first marriage both called him at least weekly. He replied "call" to my email he got on his phone. I called him up and it was obvious he was seriously ***** up--and not in a drunk way. He wouldn't call 911 despite the fact that he "just can't seem to get up off the floor," so I had to do it, which he is apparently very displeased with me about, according to the nurses.

Now I'm in touch with all these people I don't know and my father apparently had lied for three decades and said we were extremely close and he had done all this amazing stuff for me, despite the fact I barely knew him. I don't want to tell them that it's almost all lies, and he left out a ton of needlessly cruel things he did, since he meant a lot more to them and he might die soon.

If you talked to me in-game in the last two days, I apologize if I was in a really ****** mood.

Meh, real life just sucks, that's all i have to complain about.

That's why i just play Salem and Hafen and stuff, so i don't have to be in the real world.
