I had this happen to me 6 months or so ago when perusing the guide to watch something with my niece. It was right there. Berenstain Bears. I slapped my two year old niece and right in her face I yelled, "What have you done to me!"

I was always under the impression that it was Berenstain Bears, named after the writers, Stan and Jan, and their son, Mike.

I remember these books, they were called "Berenstein" not Stain.
