Well, I can't seem to complete the epic quest arc "The Summoning of Marp". I"m 99% sure it's bugged by this point.

Everything in step 10 went perfectly fine, and I managed to pull the map from the bowels of the Legendary Darkenbear (many thanks to those who helped, and I'm sorry about the crazy insanity gains and that there weren't really any other drops).

I gathered the listed items, thankful it was nothing major:


I was surprised but relieved by the location of the final step of the quest:




It said that I needed to sanctify the area with "sacred unguent" (white corn oil)



and induce "conflicting but convergent sensations" using two "pink feathers" and 2 thorns at the points farthest from the "Eastern Coast."





and "know" the area from "zenith to nadir" for upwards of 60 seconds "as swiftly as possible."



...nothing happened, except my character began blinking rapidly. I have tried for 55 seconds, 60 seconds, 90 seconds, 2 and a half minutes, and 5 minutes. I even used Satan Salts and . I tried with a full bucket of sacred "unguent", as well, even though it said 1 liter has proven adequate in the past.

Is this quest bugged or what? Are Indian Feathers not the "pink feathers"? The quest doesn't mention it not being solo-able, unlike the previous step. I've tried everything, and no Marp...no Marp at all.

Some people have asked how I got the quest.

Books were given to the people who had posted the most information about Exploration Events in the Wiki Updates thread.

Marp can be summonsed with a nutcracker and half a bag of taco bell, everyone knows that

Surely you saw the hints about it scribed onto traces of the lost colony dug up during IRL solar eclipses right?

I believe it is written by the ancients that one must remain bowed over in solemn humility via the spamming the sacred laughing emote whilst confessing your deepest, naughtiest sins.

Only then will the great God of the Marps be willed into fleeting existence in our plane of Salem consciousness.

All joking aside, this quest reward better be ***** epic.
