Merry Christmas everyone!

I just want to wish everyone a joyous day, no matter what creed, religion, or methodology you adhere to.
In my short time on the Salem forum I've seen more than a little ill will; insults traded that go far beyond the realms of role play and sporting baiting.
Please remember that everyone who comes here, I hope anyway, comes here for fun. For a game. We are all real people, and we're just trying to succeed in our own best ways. Please never let this escapism turn to something bitter and hostile. There is absolutely no gain that come from that, only bitterness.
We could also pay a little bit of tribute to what this game represents by spending a moment or two to remember those first pioneers who settled the New World, far from home, far from the familiar, and far safety. Those first lives were built from back breaking work and determination, risking everything.
It is from the success of those first labours that a true sense of Thanksgiving was born. A sense of 'We actually made it.'
It's Christmas.
Just for a little while, if your characters cannot be good, and do good, you, the players, can keep some goodness in your souls.
Smite and blight with good cheer, and as you knock an avatar down, help a player up.
Good day to you all!
