Hello everyone, im very new to salem and i enjoy my time!
I was wondering though, the game is pretty deep when it comes to progression -
what is endgame like? Is there anything more than meets the noobie's eyes?

Are there any clan wars or territorial conflicts? Areas of control etc

Some what. There is really only 2 or 3 groups atm that are actively fighting each other.

So basically all the people fighting are considered as "criminals" right?

Griefing is a somewhat end stage
Raiding is a somewhat end stage
PvP is a somewhat end stage
Hunting darkness creatures is a somewhat end stage
Witchcraft is a somewhat end stage
Building a very secure and nice base is also a somewhat end stage in some degree

Some skills are really hard to get, you could consider them end stage aswell

Just have fun, but don't be one of those people who makes a Brick Townhouse and fancy clothes yet has a base with one layer of stone wall and maybe one brazier and one torch covering each wall segment.

You can see by my join date that I'm not a veteran player, but if you wander around enough you will soon see a lot of destroyed bases that prioritized having niceties over securities.
