Lost my new toon Just plain was not on the login screen. Was playing before the update, logged in after char wasn't there, was going to start another one, got it in game and server went boom

No, I tried to get out real quick but it would not let me, it would not let me log out, nothing. The tutorial is WAY TOO GOOD of a place to get your basic skills going for your character to not save there!

Well then you simply got what you deserved for exploiting the tutorial and not leaving when you were done there.

I was not done there, the tutorial even very clearly tells you, in audio, to specialize in a skill before heading out to a town so that you are valuable. You are a member of staff and speaking to a player in this manor? Does your bosses know how you act?

Also another unprofessional act, you are not taking down Popham while other people can not even log in, so the currently logged in players can free for all on your stuff.

Frankly sir you are a disgrace, How do I get in touch with your boss?
