Hello Salemites! I am a returning player and I have decided that Salem is finally in a state where I will continue playing and I will add to my list of often streamed games! Since I have been out over 6 months (again) I am still relearning the game and all the new things that came to us in the last patches. I will have my biles revealed but I will not have my map revealed (for obvious reasons :P). Let's get this game some media attention! I wanna say thank you to John Carver for turning a game I always loved into a playable game with everything to do and more. The stream can be found on twitch at http://www.twitch.tv/cannibalkirby. I hope to see you guys there! :D

Cool, feel free to bump this thread everytime you start streaming salem, welcome back :)
it's just an idea, but It MIGHT be cool if we had a section on the forums for posting our content on twitch and youtube
only if we get a lot of regular content creators, of course

Is there a specific reason why people prefer to stream instead of just uploading pre-recorded video?

Because you launch the stream app and then you don't care anymore.
Trust your enemies more than your friends. Your enemies will never betray you.

I don't like watching others either, but it is a good way for newer players to learn by simply watching the streamer do regular tasks, usually you learn a few tips to progress quicker. I however like youtube videos xD Streaming just allows for contact with the streamer while they play, I think is the biggest appeal

I'm too lazy to edit youtube videos, therefore this works xD press go and it's all done haha

While I think it can be pretty entertaining I often wonder how someone like Pewdiepie explains to his parents how he earns money. He's not designing his own games, playtesting a beta or playing at a pro level. Must be hard to explain to someone in their 50s that if you're just playing bad games in 3+ hour sessions and making stupid faces you can drawn a million man crowd. Well, more power to him. :D
