TEXAS vs france vs terrorists

Postby Darwoth » Wed May 06, 2015 1:45 pm

some of you may remember this thread recently.....

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12049

as i pointed out in that thread (while wondering aloud why europeans are predisposed to being victims and making allowances/apologies for their attackers) the terrorists would have a much more difficult time with this sort of attack in the US than overseas due to the fact personally owned firearms are widespread in this country and everyone from our cops to mall ninjas to fat guys in trucks to hipsters at starbucks to black guys on the corner all just might have a gun tucked away.

and so the other day history as it tends to do, repeated itself.......

in france an ultra liberal newspaper printed a cartoon of muhammad and two isis linked terrorists showed up and shot/killed everyone.

meanwhile in Texas an ultra conservative group had a contest to see who could make the most offensive muhammad cartoon and two isis linked terrorists showed up to shoot/kill everyone and were promptly blown away without incurring a single murder on the texans.

Totally agree, when I heard that on the radio I was like: "THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE GODDAMNIT".

I don't see a difference in the fact that an average joe wears a gun in this story, except better work of law enforcers compared to the french.

Good riddance though !

So... some guys in texas made an event to bait terrorist muslims, and had hired armed guards who decimated the 2 attackers. How does gun control factor into this?

well texan cops are pretty good marksman (higher than the national average in most competitions) since most of them grew up shooting their entire lives, i have little doubt this is what allowed them to neutralize the ***** fast enough that no innocents were killed.

the security guards/rent a cops that were the first to encounter them were also armed (except for the one that got clipped in the leg ironically) with at least one returning fire thus buying time for the sheriffs to react and the civilians to get to safety, in most places private security get to have a taser or can of pepperspray at best.

you limpwristed retards cant just poo poo some vague comment without actually explaining what it is your talking about and think you said anything, by all means feel free to elaborate.

are you saying that our country of 300 million residents has a higher crime rate than your country (which, by the way i sincerely doubt) and that we should all agree to be killed like sheep when an angry muslim shows up instead?

have to say i disagree!
