So I'm going around collecting the new foragables when I come across a rotten log in a swamp.
Very plentiful these are.
I give it a few a few shakes for fun.
Nothin' happens, so split 'er open!
and out pops a mischivous gnome...who makes me drop my entire inventory.
Now this wouldn't be so bad, except for the 4k in loose change I had on me. That's gone. Forever. Hours of work gone.
Screw you, gnome. Just....damn.

The lesson to be learned from this: Always carry your money in wallets (those I picked back up). And murder every fricking gnome you come across, cause one of em is richer than a horse trader in Limers.

No. So I guess I should feel lucky I got away from a bear the other day. He spooked my horse, who bucked me off. I fled while pissing my pants over a lake and almost died by (a)the bear nailing me, (b)phlem loss from swimming, and (c)black bile loss from the fear (fear gauge was half way up). This is not my first bear encounter, but it was the only one I successfully escaped from to date.

Yeah you're right, that's why I didn't bother buying wallets earlier. I remember keeping any and all silver, clothing, and equipped stuff on ko, so I never worried about it. Until now, that is.

it does, now. You can now also drop purses, by the way...

That's good to know. But at least you can pick up purses. Spare change just disappears instantly on dropping, or has a very very short despawn time.
