Penny Dreadful

Is anyone else as in to this show as I am?
It is, like every other show produced these days, fairly predictable. What I like about it, however, is that it is not necessarily cliche and it is definitely not "weak" (like I thought True Blood was)
It normally takes a lot for me to go "wow that is ***** up" but this show has managed to pull that out of me more than once. I look forward to the upcoming season 2

I normally wouldn't promote a TV show, but tbh I had not heard anything about this one till the other day (Maybe cause I spend most of my time staring at coal clamps) and I feel that this one truly deserves recognition

What are your thoughts? Hate it? Love it? Never heard of it? ***** vampires, Dorian Gray, and Frankenstein?

Penny dreadful is such an amazing show but no one I know watches it. Glad to see another fan sing its praises.

I think its the acting that makes it better than other similar shows. Eva Green and Roy Kinnear both nailed it and I even stopped hating Josh Harnett, which in itself is a miracle.

You have until May 3rd to binge watch season 1 Salemites

I really hate it. It's like they wanted to fit as many popular things in a tiny show as possible. Sex, vampires, Dorian, cowboys, violence, 19th century, etc., etc., etc. And none of this looks natural, plot doesn't seem to have any logic. And still I keep watching it, because there is something intriguing about it's *****.
