At first I thought you had named the character of yours that died today that, but that's just crushing news.
Some people are just so legendary, you almost forget they're human and leave us one day.
He will be missed and kept in great memory.

Half vulcan, his mother was human.

Leonard Nimoy was a great man who lived a great life, he effected so many lives and will be sorely missed, but fondly remembered.

I was never much of a TOS fan, more of a TNG guy myself, but I remember Leonard guest starring on TNG and I read up on him at one point. A great guy. I feel so bad for Shatner right now - those two were apparently very, very close friends despite Shatner being somewhat disliked by other cast members.

Plus, and I'm dead serious, anyone who brought the following jewel into existence for no other reason than because he could deserves to be remembered:

It as a fun show, and his role was interesting, even if a smaller part of the thing. What's the blue for?

I really don't recall anything Mr. Nimoy did other than TOS and his voice over work on some science show I watched as a kid.

How have I never seen this before? Tolkien, the George R. R. Martin of the 60s... (maybe better to say Martin is the Tolkien of the 21st century)
