There I was, doing my thing, settling down, landscaping, drying hides, etc.

After a few hours, I decided to log off and get back to real life business ... only after taking one last stroll around my exceedingly modest home (a semi-flattened strip of dirt at this point).

Doo-doodoo, walking around, foraging, letting my mind wander and wonder what my next skill would be ... I suddenly came upon a stump which I promptly clicked on, as I'm in the habit of doing.
That stump was holding more than the usual random objects though. It was holding nothing else than a treasure: not one, or two, or even four Indian feathers. No. It was holding six of them.
6! Filling all of its storage slots with feathery goodness.

Could somebody have left them there, for later picking? No, ... only a crazy person or the greatest noob this side of the galaxy would have done such a thing.
Nope, the game had generated it ... which prompted me to give up on the idea of getting back to the real world ... which meant another hour of gaming.

Grrrr! Salem! Why art thou so addictive?

I don't think stumps generate feathers. It was probably a noob who left it there.

It happened to me few times that I had to port back to my homestead as soon as possible so I dropped all the things I gathered in the nearest stumps/logs to bring up a smile on somebody's face.

i check every log and stump i see. You find so many goodies game generated and left by players esp close to towns and hermitages.

Yeah I highly doubt they were generated, I hardly ever look in logs/stumps any more unless they are near someones claim since the only things I've found are cobwebs, snakeskins, chestnuts, 4-6 silver pieces or a worm.
