Heffernanx: you can craft alot of items in salem like tools, weapons, clothes, food, inspirational levelling items and much more

Heffernanx: every item has a somewhat long process and is not instantly produced, for example for some clothing you need to hunt animals, scalp there skin off, dry it, milk it in tanning fluid, make leather out of it and use that to make clothes, or plant cotton and wait a few days for it to ripe

Heffernanx: the 4 Brs at the top are the so called Humours, blue is for working and producing items, red is your blood/health, yellow is your attacking power and attacking bar wich drains when attacking others, the black bar is the bar used to learn things and inspirationals to gain new skills AND also to commit crimes.

Heffernanx: these bars are levelled up by "Gluttoning" aka consuming food in a special eating process that raises your stats and allow you to commit stuff easier, have more weight, fight things like Rabbits, Turkeys Bear or other players etc..

Heffernanx: when playing salem you should seek out friends on the forum or bring your own players as the game is 1000% easier if played with friends as alone, its even more dangerous playing alone

Heffernanx: salem is a FULL pvp game, means everywhere you go people can commit crimes on you, rob your items, KO you or even fully kill you making you have to start over again, so you might considerbuilding a base with walls and defense mechanisms such as Torchposts or Braziers wich will shoot at players attacking your base.

So many cash shop/dev given Items so little defense, I'm sure this will end well.

it was on the edge of providence and no plyayer near, i didnt think i would KO after fighting the like 3rd beaver, streamed for 3hours and told alot about the game so player have a understanding f boston, humours, proficiencies, inspirationals, base building etc... even discovered a bug..

it was just a test didnt even think anyonr would watching but had 10 viewers and that at 5h in the morning.

the gems arent worth anything i suppose, it was the first stream, i dont even have a huge load of biles but it was fun, i always consider a stream where funny things happen more valuable then a stream like Sipos where u watch him make clothes and plant field for hours.

i don't have any store bought items, don't have much storage, everything is pretty much consumed when it comes, or sold off, and yet i have brick walls and sectioned off braziers and torchposts defending that big nothing i have....

If I were to describe Salem in one sentence it would be: Salem is a full-loot permadeath sandbox set in Colonial times with crafting, building, and terraforming.

You should learn your time periods better. Middle Ages were about 1100s-1400s, up to the beginning of the Renaissance. This would be the "early colonial" period or Baroque, depending on who you ask.

Other than that, it's a good statement

I'll check it out. Not much on streaming games, but it's fun every once in a while, especially when it's watching someone do something I wouldn't do myself.
