The appearance of an ingame character often depicts the opposite of my person. Unless I want to reflect some part of my person, which rarely happens.
Most people that have played mmo's for a long time have shed the 'alter ego' characters and choose whatever they feel like at that particular time.
I play to relax and get away from myself, not to become a dillusional alter ego.
