Thanksgiving Event for New Players

As a way of thanking new players who I've accumulated some items that will be helpful to you in the first couple of weeks of playing Salem and will be giving them out on Thanksgiving this Thursday.
Whether you have been brought here by the Town Crier, or found them on your own, Welcome to the Forums. Unlike many games, Salem's forum is very much an extension of it's game play. You'll find information on updates, a link to our beautifully maintained wiki, help sections, events, and in-game politics.
You don't have to post of course, lurking is just fine, however if you do decide to become a member of our community here's a little guide:
There is a lot of things you will learn just by doing them in the game, but there is also a lot to learn by checking out the forums. This being an MMO I find it really enhances the game to know what's going on. So with this I am making a formal request to be a part of our community by making an introduction post in this thread. Just who you are and how you found the game.
So about the items. I will update this post on Thursday when I'm in town. I am US Pacific Time so sorry any body who that doesn't work for. You will find me by the Snake Oil Salesmen in Providence where I'll be filling the barrels in that area. Drop by to pick up a couple of items. Try to be considerate of others and don't take more than you need. This is specifically for newer players, most of the items only have value when you're just starting out, but since I can't technically stop anyone, if you're not new and still really want one of the items I'm giving out, you can take it, just leave something equally good in it's place.
I will also be cutting up a bunch of turkeys and putting them in the barrels as well so feel free to bring some food and glutton in town.
If anyone else wants to donate, feel free to drop by and fill a barrel as well, or if you're busy I can try to arrange to pick up anything you wish to donate today or tomorrow.
