Dat Salem :)

Heyo! Just gotta say, I'm happy with all the enthusiasm being shown by the new lead team in regards of Salem. It's really the only other survival game out there besides H&H that I'd consider being what I'm looking for. H&H was fun at the start, but the more I played, the more I realized that it really wasn't going anywhere. The whole game server seemed to just be populated by bots, over-powered raiders who have been leveling constantly day in day out, and players who pretty much never interacted with each other, and the game didn't seem like it was being worked on at all. Now, it's a free game, and so is Salem, so it's not like I have the right to ***** or anything, I'm just happy to say that Salem seems to really be on the path of improvement.
To John in particular, don't get discouraged by all these loud mouths going, "I quit!" every five seconds. Some of them are just angry at the fact that the new changes might just threaten position of being kings of... what, exactly? Bots and formally empty servers (I'm glad to see that's changed). Others simply don't like change because they feel nothing is broken and are venting about it, which is understandable, of course, but something to take with a grain of salt, as that kind of attitude leads to the same stagnant nature you'd find in the end of H&H, with nothing growing or progressing.
But yeah, keep on doin' what your doin', and I hope to see this game continue to strive to improve. Don't lose your enthusiasm!
With best regards,
- Arthur Reeves
