Salem

Been out of Salem for well over a year, but saw that the developers changed hands and there are plenty of new plans on the table (which rejuvenated my intrigue). However, I logged in to find my character no longer existed? Was there a wipe? Pity, all the hard work I put into eating and studying things...

Edit: Also, is the game still pretty corrupt (players having to pay off "The Tribe" so they can be left alone, as an example)?

I've read the over recent posts in some of the sub forums, but a lot of it is meme posting and trash talk. I did see, however, that Chief is no longer in game. But I wasn't sure how this affected the Tribe. Just thought I could pose a simple, quick question or two.

I miss the raiding topics, they are a bit rare now. Btw chief bought game (Mortal Moments = Tribe MM) but he is competent and appearly just.
