Who cares how many people play it, it's only 10 at a time in each game session which only last for like an hour. How is botting even applicable to that?

Your analogy is bad.

publishers care, more ppl more money. Hence so many similar moba games popping out to try grab a piece of revenue. you should get into your head, mmorpg isn't charity, devs are out to try to make as much money as possible. Based on the revenue, then they decide how much to invest into the game. More players = more money= more development. You wouldn't care because botting wouldn't give you advantage. You can buy any champ and still get owned if you don't have the skill. You can't just one shot someone like in this game because you botted your way to high stats.

You debate like a politician, you respond to what you wanted to hear not what was actually said. When I said "Who cares" I wasn't referencing publishers or devs, I was making a counterpoint to the fact that it doesn't matter how many TOTAL people play that game because only 10 play at the same time making your past arguments ridiculous and the entire analogy you had going borderline retarded.

Everything you've posted in this thread is completely irrelavent. Please stop.

This conversation might be dying off for now, but it's hardly over. It's been going on for as long as there's been multiplayer games on the Internet (early 80s, maybe late 70s).

speak for yourself. You need to follow your own advice and stop making retarded and irrelevant posts. No not 10 ppl play at same time, it's 10 ppl play at same time per match. There's tens of thousands of matches going on at the same time, with over 1mil peak players playing at the "same time". Have you even played LOL?Starcraft 2v.s 2 had map hack available where you can look up where your opponents is. It don't matter if it's 10ppl or few hundred ppl, ppl is always going to try and find a way to hack and bot a game. How is botting not applicable just because it's 5v.s5? anyway like the guy said few post above, this is becoming pointless. You can have the last words on this thread

Yea, because I was completely under the impression that only 10 people are ever allowed to play LoL at the same time. Thanks for clearing that one up for me.

jaychaulives wrote:How is botting not applicable just because it's 5v.s5?

What would be the point of botting a 5v5? That would be like watching a person play against a Computer opponent, only difference being it's a Computer opponent you coded. You would never play the game if you did that. It's completely non-analogous to this game, in size, mechanics, design, etc. And yet you feel like referring to it means the exact same principles apply to this game. They don't. Also I haven't played LoL, though I did play it's predecessor DoTA. From Dallane's post it sounds like you can bot against computers to gain rank opening up new characters.... and it sounds like they haven't been able to stop that... making your entire point about being able to stop botting irrelavent.(and retarded)

You continue to bring up things like the fact that there are "map hacks" in DoTA/starcraft. I don't understand the point you are trying to make with that, there is nothing like that type of hack occuring in this game. You just yell out a bunch of **** regardless of whether it's factual or pertinent and then make it seem like it proves your point. I feel like I'm reading something from Fox News everytime you post, except it lacks grammar and editorial control... actually nope exactly like reading something from Fox News.
