You can get 100% anything alchemizable with test tubes, but you have a better shot at winning the national lottery five times in a row.

Eh, I have no idea how someone could believe raising purity pre-nerf wasn't easy. It was just time consuming, and coal fixed that.

When you compare the old system to what we have now, claiming the old system was hard makes me want to bash my head through a brick wall.

The benefit they get from lying is twofold, lulz from trolling, and they get to keep things as they are.

Also what Potjeh said.

No you can't. Please learn the game before you speak.

The amount of ***** in this post is hilarious and comes from people who have no clue (& probably bought 80-90% seeds prenerf)

Good evening,

No... you can't. Test tubes don't work how you think they do.

You can't even begin to approach 30% purity using alchemy alone.

Faithfully,

Jalpha wrote:Ahh yes, but we already confirmed the tribe has no idea what they are talking about. Also they are naturally biased toward retaining their advantage, and so they will pepper every argument they make with falsehoods designed to fool others into believing:

a) That they know what they are talking about,
b) They put in any work at all towards grinding purity themselves,
c) The old purity system was oh so hard and thus it's only fair that they retain an unfair advantage,
d) They cannot ever be wrong,
e) They are a reasonable and unbiased group with the best interests of the game at heart.

But I'm not here to convince the tribe of anything, and I'm sure the silent majority knows you for what you are.

In this case, sir, they do actually know what they're talking about. The tribe is notorious for misconstruing events and reforming them to fit their agenda, but when it comes to mechanics, they generally do know what they're talking about. They may interpret things from a different perspective (e.g. Seige mechanics circa Mushiville), but they usually have the facts correct.

The old system was obviously easier to get higher purity, but there have been a few other changes as well that helped compensate for it. (e.g. improvements to tiered prepared foods)

When referencing "the tribe" and "they" in this particular comment, I am specifically referring to the Chief and PaymasterPaul.

While I appreciate the compliment I'm afraid that the secret to our intimate game knowledge always has and always will go by one name.....
