How is this true? You have a live example in EU, where, like was said, the uncontrolled influx of refugees led to increased crime rates and would likely soon lead to increased tax rates, not to mention blatant terrorism.

It is in our constitution. If the person requesting to live here has no criminal history, and has a religion (no matter what that religion may be according to Amendment 1), why should they not be allowed here? Sure some may be prejudiced against them but we are not to say they don't even have a chance

past generations immigrated into a fledgling country, built it together and created a new "american" culture that melted together over 200 years. several hundred thousand syrians that subscribe to a religion, culture and and belief system which is in total opposition to that culture being **** out into the middle of it this late in the game is not remotely the same thing.

It doesn't matter how they get here. America is built on the principles of welcoming all peaceful people and I stand by my belief that everyone is INNOCENT before proven guilty.

If they do not want to become Americans that does not mean we should not allow them to be here, unless we can prove they have malicious intent
