Exactly. And they also need to ban all festivals so that they don't offend muslims..

They also need to ban any other religion, content on tv/internet that goes against muslim teachings, free speach and many other things that some people take for granted.
P.S.
Claeyt, take it from someone who was in millitary for a long ***** time. You do not need guns to kill people if you are determined enough. Guns just make it easier.

This is abjectly and provably false:

As you can see gun murders are not higher in highly regulated states. In fact 2 of the 3 safest states (Vermont and Hawaii) have some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country while 4 of the 5 most dangerous states (Louisiana, Michigan, South Carolina and Missouri) make it incredibly easy to buy guns.

More importantly many places like the District of Columbia or the City of Chicago have incredibly strict gun laws but are surrounded by States where it is easy to buy guns, thus police find that nearly ALL of the guns used in crimes there were actually bought just outside their area.

Poverty and especially concentrated poverty is a much better predictor of gun murders and gun violence than what state has which laws.

I fully agree and I've said this over and over. These people are going to find a way to kill people, the governments job is to make it as hard as possible. If this means that eventually it comes down to some guy just stabbing 2 or 3 people like what's happening in Israel then people will still die just not as much.

This guy tried to buy guns but couldn't. He used a truck. If he had had guns then he would have killed even more.

no, THIS batch was killed by a guy with a truck. and that is quite an "interesting" perspective since the bodycounts here aside from the crowd of homos locked in a building by idiots that barricaded the door with those eeeeeevile guns you piss yourself over the thought of pale in comparison.

ignoring the fact that the pictured armament is the exception there, that that picture is outside an event (where americans are also frequently up gunned) and that we are instead discussing average patrol officers the run of the mill mp5s pictured are quite **** compared to what can be found in the typical squad car here, maybe you can tell me about "uzi's" again (as though you have a ***** clue what that means  ) with the obsolete open bolt design

actually if he had a gun and was thus forced to kill one at a time, aim and reload he would have killed far less people in the same timeframe than simply mowing everyone down with his truck, which only stopped when guys with guns shot him. thank you for arguing in favor of the second amendment.

I never said it was an extensive training course for armed security guards.

8hrs is about standard I'd guess. In my state, concealed carry is just an ID check and an application.

As for where armed guards are, they're everywhere. As for banks over Walmart, I'd say that Walmart probably has more cash in it than any bank. Either way they are everywhere and lightly trained, I agree.

sorry, but simple facts disagree no matter how much you want to ignore the actual argument like you always do and attempt to twist it to your own flavor of ***** (entire states vs towns, which was the argument remember? you know since the urban areas frequently have their own gun control laws) blame other states and "poverty" (instead of inner city black gangmembers shooting each other, which i pointed out the last 15 times).

bonus hilarity points for using vermont and hawaii as your litmus btw and then comparing them to "michigan" (detroit) "missouri" (st louis) and so on

you are a ***** moron, and this thread is about muslims not guns. go respond to the 500 points you ignored in the last thread you had created for that topic if you wish to discuss that.

...guys.

84 people have been killed. With a truck and a weapon.
With or without weapons, 84 people whould have been killed with a truck and another weapon.

...don't you have anything else to talk about? Guns aren't the only argument related to terrorism, damn! XD

This actually makes alot more sense now that I think about it.

But the average joe's mentality here in Europe would make it so they would probably not carry a gun either way, because most of us have been indoctrined since infants that guns are bad mmkay.

no, i meant defecating large volumes of outright *****.

You can call PROVABLE FACTS ***** all you want, that doesn't make them any less true no matter how much you want them to not be true.

The Orlando club had an armed off duty police officer at the door so I don't know what you're talking about here.

This is absolutely not an exception there. It is more common than seeing an American cop carrying a shot gun or an assault weapon. They have ready access to guns like this from everything I've seen in Europe.

I remember seeing the French Police with Uzi's back in 1999. I've been back since but don't remember if I saw Uzi's or mp5's or whatever. Here's a recent pic of a European Swat team member with an Uzi.

This is probably true. It's coming out slowly but there actually seems to be a pretty big failure of vehicle control by the police controlling access to the crowd. He apparently had gotten the truck past or been inside the controlled area by saying he was delivering ice cream. I'm not sure if they meant he had gotten in during the day or when but either way the police failed to get him behind any vehicle barriers for the large crowded area like what we see at most big events in the states and probably how it's mostly done in Europe.

The point where your argument fails and mine wins is that he probably would only have killed MORE people if he had actually had a gun with him in that truck.

Guns ARE bad. Only gun nuts and idiots like Darwoth think that guns solve anything.

If this guy had had a gun then more people would be dead, not less.

More guns on the street mean more murders and more crime, this is provable over and over and over again in study after study. Even with terrorist attacks like this Europe is much, much safer than America because we have so many guns here. Armed people walking around is not the answer and never will be. Easy access to guns leads to more domestic violence murders, gang murders, random murders and any other type of murder you can think of between someone with a gun who is angry and their victim.
