I am curious Dallane, why do you feel this way?

I don't really see how he had any other choise. If i personally went to America and started asking "the wrong" questions. I would probably be locked up for good pretty fast.
And as i have understood the goverment doesn't need a reason to detain someone for as long as they like. If something is inconvenient to them it gets taken out of the way pretty fast.
There is a ton of stuff that is ***** up in your country. The majority of the rest of the world knew that even before Snowden released his information. NSA stuff is just the tip of the iceberg.
You will probably have a civil war at your hands soon, i do hope that it doesn't come to that. But i think the future looks very dark for you. Maybe you should open your eyes.
I am personally troubled of what is becoming of America, and i am not even it's citizen. I am very suprised that you don't even raise a eyebrow to question the actions of your own goverment.

By leaking he exposed tons of information to US enemies that will more then likely be used against us along with other countries down the road. Our IT infrastructure around the world is insanely unsecured, even more now.
Was the NSA doing some shady stuff? Depends on who you ask, but there are channels he can go through to address and fix issues instead of leaking and running like a *****. Being a contractor doesn't make you powerless to changes.
One thing that will come of this is that all classified info is going to be locked up tighter then all ***** along with people working for the gov in IT will need to get more ***** certs and keep up with them all at the same time.
