Ontopic, anyone that thinks that there is no dev intervention is prolly a newbie in the game, damn even the early popham had video records of dev abusing and making their own faction to spice the server, and ofc you wont find anything in the forum since it gets instadeleted. Salem is not p2w but is near it, specially in the early states of a server.

Devs do this in EVERY GAME ON THE MARKET.

Just on salem its more obvious and easier to notice due to such low numbers.

Really, i don't understand your crying about a possible pay2win.

First thing is, that there is a must for an Item-Shop if you are not like to get a monthly subscription.
Server and Bandwidth wants to be paid.

Second, we have a really small Community, Dev Interactions and Givaways are essential for bring a benefit for the game.
Like Holy-Light it said, many online games work with this Dev interactions to keep the communities happy.

Third, i think personally, that we have a really good system in reason for nothing is soulbound.
Therefor i don't see really a problem if someone pay for things, because he/she can give away all items ingame for ingame money.

Sometimes i think people see problems where there are none.
It is also called luxury problem.

Simply enjoy the game!
If you don't like it or the orientations of Devs into the game, simply go away.
