This. It was our view that once you established a large base there should be some way to at least make an attempt to have some form of semi-passive revenue to achieve so that the larger you build your base doesn't immediate equate to the more cricket grinding you do.

Thank God, no longer does one have to count tiles into crickets. :x

Won't this further discourage trade?

Does seem nice to be able to rely on Geese now for upkeep, so if a goose lays an egg per 24 hours that's 1000s per 25 days, 40s per day which is standard upkeep for a base V claim and the more geese you find the bigger you can grow your town and no more cotton farming. Currently I believe its at 24 fields to maintain upkeep(4.5 days) at base plenty and most people increase that due to the time you need to invest to harvest and replant to just top the bell up to full every time.

I like the idea of using geese to maintain bells, means we can finally have BIG towns that can house dozens of people depending on the Goose factor, standard Vclaim means cotton/hides/feather upkeep model, larger then that indicates maybe a goose or more. Although this means that a town becomes financially dependent on its G factor and removal of it could destroy a town or force it to decrease its land size. A town such as Brodgar or w/e its called from HnH could exist here then and etc etc.

Though this all rests on the idea of a goose produces 1 egg a day like the fable.
