landmines, tripwires, trap doors, pitfalls and other stuff are on the list along with a rough outline of how i think they should be implemented, however i think it will require coding a "trigger tile" type of module and since i am not a coder do not know how difficult that will be.

A blunderbuss would be pretty cool.

This should be implemented as fast as possible since it would make this a PVP game with a side of crafting instead of a crafting game with a side of PVP (in my understanding this was originally intended after all).

And yeah TRG is an expensive gun but I bet it's worth it. Could see myself hunting moose with that one, definitely.

Darwoth wrote:i would prob just use a regular high quality handgun to defend myself at close (10 - 20 feet) distance if inside my house as the longer options such as a shotgun are not as maneuverable and poking your head/limbs around a corner in that situation is how you get them shot off =P, in fact many of the homes where i grew up had a handgun or two around the house (usually in the bedroom and living room) and a shotgun next to the front door with the logic being the shotgun was for threats in your immediate front yard (be it human or more likely animal, black bears specifically) and the pistols were for inside the home.

The Fifth Circuit seems to agree with you. Hollis v. Lynch, http://www.ca5.uscourts.gov/opinions/pu ... 03-CV0.pdf
