We would have no drain there, but once you slap on a crime debuff and start using your humours to break through walls and what not, you would start eating the full effects of the drain from crime debuff. Since you obviously have higher humours now, why dont you go try to raid a defended base and let me know if the outcome is any different then you laying there face down spamming veb waiting for respawn.

It isn't, but there you will need friends who you can trust who will protect you while you eat dirt. That's my point, it is doable, it's just not easy, and you need at least 4 people.
You got to make a sacrifice, raiding in the darkness should not be easy, because building a base in the darkness is not easy !

Don't expect to raid a decent defended place within 30 minutes...

Darkness is not intended to be the place where you build vaults and homes and will in all liklihood be changed as jorb has stated before.

Yeah, darkness should not be safe, regardless of the number of crickets you ate while building your base...

Darwoth said he lost char there, so it is not safe imho.
In future there should be animals/monsters that will kill you after KO.

Don't forget there will be churches, so raid plan would be like build your own church near target and then raid.

It is not exploiting...it just needs to be balanced. There is nowhere in the world where you should be 100% safe from the reprecussions of your actions, let alone in darkness which is supposed to be the most dangerous place to live in all of Salem.

There is no such a place, just grow some balls to raid.

Raiding in "light" is easy, because raiders don't have to risk anything, only risk is disconnect or crash right now, but even for that is a way.

EDIT: @balanced
What are you talking about?
It is balanced, you just don't like it because your play style as most aggressive faction is not enough to raid anything you like in 1h and stay safe

I see that you are still clueless about this game.

Darkness wasn't made to have the time sink vaults it is now. Jorb has already said its changing so lets just see what they do with it.

I see that you are still not banned.

If they will change it before addition of new walls then good luck with server population.

Whole game is now not balanced, even 20 humorus darkness is opportunity for crafters to stay safe,
because many raiding groups won't risk 6h raid for 2 walls layers and few braziers while they can be KO'd by crime debuff.

Current humor (or rather food purity) cap is much to high for current wall soak value,
darkness just balanced that right now, I don't know how about future Dallane, I am talking about current game.

So i can make a vault in the darkness the size of my current town and then go into the light area's and rampage like i did in the 1st world? There would be no retaliation with the play times my village has with people playing from all part of the world. that's balanced?

The world isn't balanced atm because players have grown much stronger then stone walls. we need better walls and better braziers to match the humors of the players. Even now we need the 4th wall to match where most of us in the bigger towns are seeing the 200-300 area.

Nothing wrong with defences in light, maybe you should stop using 90% of your iron on lockets and build more than a token amount of braziers.
