I think the petitioners got exactly what they asked for - unspecific, naive, and emotionally charged chant for some sort of nebulous "change."

The parallels in modern social, economic, and political reality should be obvious.

jorb's hoax is giving them what they think they want, but will not give them what they want. That's the point of the hoax, to show us exactly how stupid we are. And, if we fall for this hoax, we are indeed the stupidest people alive. But I don't fall for this hoax, instead I see it for what it really is, a game that we are playing together with jorb. It's the most fun and interesting thing that has been done in these forums and I think jorb should be proud of what he has created - a truly compelling game that makes me ponder my own participation.
