Predominantly you only seem to appear as a moderator when moderation is being questioned. The result is usually heavy handed bans. That's from my perspective, but I don't often test the boundaries of what is appropriate posting on these boards. Others likely have their own interpretation.
Without word of a lie I find your no-nonsense approach refreshing, and I think it's a very valuable part of what keeps these boards what they are. Particularly in circumstances where other moderators seem to feel constrained by protocols which are being twisted against them.
It is very much the case that when the balance of power is being upheld, and a line is drawn, you are the moderator who is there.
