Then I disagree with the MMO title based on it not being Massive :).

On a serious note. Most people equate MMO with characters that won't be deleted but simply "nerfed". It is the act of a full reset that I feel breaks it free from the urge to call it an MMO.

And I agree. I HIGHLY doubt this next server will make it even 6 months. The Developers have a HUGE opportunity to test questionable mechanics on the EXISTING server that will be shut down soon. Instead of doing so (and mitigating the need for future wipes) they are doing nothing to those servers. As such, they will be less-educated and less prepared to implement systems ripe with the opportunity to ***** up like alchemy. Lets be honest, if they couldn't get boiling mushrooms down, how can we expect something like Alchemy not to come with some ability to create "legacy" and "Unbalanced" situations that require yet another reset.

I can promise you this. UNDER THE CURRENT SYSTEM I CAN TAKE SEVERAL GOODS NOT INTENDED TO HAVE PURITY to Extreme levels of Purity and multipliers. On the new world I WILL HAVE LEGACY ITEMS again. Nobody else will as nobody outside of a few Tribe know how to do it. When I do this, there will be the choice of fixing the legacy items and re balancing the server (the hard choice) or just wiping everybodies **** and starting over (the easy choice).

Guess which one is going to get made :)

Maybe the possibility of 100% tribe dominance in the future through bug use which is ironic based on how the tribe was allegedly against Gallows Hill for precisely that reason? :lol:

As always the Tribe has not and never will fabricate any of our abilities. Jorb knows that we can and have done amazing things in this game and creating "Legacy" items (items with purities higher than can be found in the world) is very possible. When he spoke to and visited us more frequently we would give him our latest Technologies as a gift. Now that he has forsaken us we are finding ourselves with more time to use such technologies.

To be more specific. The Tribe can raise the Alchemical property of an item approx 15-25 points above the highest value it is found in the natural world. Those who have used Test Tubes knows that this is a seemingly impossible event as the instability would pop your item long before that.

actually this is true, for example i started late on my trees but had just gotten my treelines high enough that i would have been able to produce boards in the 50 - 60% range.
