You can declaim your p. claim with a v. claim. But it costs twice the amount of silver as you're putting in the bank. Worth it if you're transfering servers I guess and don't want to leave anything for the buzzards.

Don't forget to add in costs of town bell and authority expansion (as well as any upkeep while you're doing this). It's really only practical if you're going to bank thousands of silver or already are a part of a town claim.
