Either uncle darwoth doesn't know what alt vaults are or he likes to raise biles on characters that never leave boston for the lulz of it.

My two silver

PVP would be a much bigger thing without permanent death, as instead of risking your character that you have spent months on you just loose whatever you are wearing/in inventory and a few levels, possibly locking them out of the character for a few days or a week or something, as for alt vaulting, welcome to MMO banking 101, from WoW and having an alt with its own guild bank to Runecape and having an account just for banking stuff, you can't stop it, not unless you make it one character per account and subscription based

You don't have to build walls either, but the game mechanics encourage certain behaviour.

What in this game isn't VERY easily replaceable that you just have to store them on alts?

Other then high Q seeds.

It takes max a minute to store something on an alt. It takes far more time for a lot of items to be acquired without trade.

Alts & Teleport are OP.

I'm okay with this though.
Someone should teach me how to play this game.

There is no easy way to blockade run two clients on same machine? People are mainly lazy and dont bother with runing two PC same time. :P

^ only works if someone doesnt have several pcs... (turns on 2 more pcs) yup 1 client per system works ¦]

honestly though this mule/alt debate is pointless and never EVER going to reach an acceptable location. everygame from muds of the 80s to stupid WoW suffers from multi accounts be it a gold spamer/farmer or some one like the dude in vanilla wow who ran 10 accounts at once for a solo 10 man raid (poop in socks anyone?)

frankly sea tribe will never beable to accurately prevent alt accounts. even with subscription, people in second life or EVE have multi accounts and thats sub. :/

just let it go people. game is to game what pizza is to pie.

enjoy it dont make it so stressful

besides people who alt bank suffer worse then non-alters. while they might store important items. they wind up losing track what they alt banked so wind up spending more time having to retool their alt storage then actually making use of it LOL

Not really. You only need one alt bank. Give it a backpack, one bag of each of your best seeds, some silver, and a few tools to help you get started if you lose everything. Done.

I guess people with a lot more money than I have might make an alt to hold purses of silver as well.

I guess you cant appreciate the safety net of being able to have backup seeds when you've never had to grind them from 0%.
