Cleayt stop talking badly about our great supreme leader or you will be transferred to Guantanamo Bay.

They have wanted and not wanted to close it for years. Hopefully it stays open so the terrorist scum in it rot.

new theory about the economy
As sexy as the digital revolution may be, it can’t compare to the Second Industrial Revolution (electricity! the gas engine! antibiotics!), which created the biggest standard-of-living boost in U.S. history. The only problem, argues the economist Robert Gordon, is that the Second Industrial Revolution was a one-time event. So what happens next?

So far this is my favorite article about who's actually supporting Trump.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/13/upsho ... mpism.html

This census bureau correlation says they're White, non-educated trailer folk with a history of voting "segregationist".

Are you a Trump supporter Tmeow, like JC, Darwoth and Dallane?

You absolute pancake. Did you even read what I wrote? It's high school math, or are you the uneducated 'trailer folk'? (And that's a very bigoted term, btw.) What I was explaining was actually something I've done myself, and I am far from rich, but it should easily work for someone who is rich; it should work for anyone who can invest at a better rate than they have to pay for a loan.

In fact, I voted for Obama last election and have been kicking myself since. He's been such a disappointment. But the alternatives just sucked too much. I didn't like any of the options the last two presidential elections. I'm favoring Trump in part because he IS different, though that is not the only reason.

As for your articles, I know the NY Times is Democratic/Liberal and will pretty much bash any Republican candidate, so posting political articles about Trump from them to support your opinion isn't exactly objective of you. You're trying to bash Trump, but where is your actual evidence of why he'll be a bad president? I'd seriously like to see it.

For now, I'm thinking it very likely that Hillary wins the Dem nomination, Trump gets the GOP, and goes on the win the election. I do think he'll be a surprisingly better president that some people think.

You're an idiot if you think Trump would make a good president. He's an embarrassment to the country and the presidential election. He'd be a horrible, horrible president and divide the nation like no other. He lies/exaggerates/is ignorant of so many things that it's simply dangerous to view him as a possibility of becoming president.

There's absolutely no way he wins the presidency. He's 15 pts back from Hilary and 20 from Bernie. He has 58% of Americans saying that they would never vote for him... EVER. He loses Georgia to Hillary, He loses North Carolina to Hillary, He even loses Texas.... TEXAS to Bernie Sanders in a head to head and almost loses it to Hillary.

You want reasons why he's an embarrassment, Here you go:

1. He has repeatedly called for banning all Muslim immigarants (students/refugees/applications for citizenship) to America. Not only is this against the Constitution it has alienated our Allies, and the entire world with his bigoted *****.

http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/vide ... e-us-video

2. He called Mexican illegal immigrants rapists and drug dealers even though they don't rape or deal drugs at any greater rate. He has repeatedly spouted bigoted remarks against Mexican-Americans/Univision/The Spanish Language and Mexico in general. This has led to a horrifying fascist/violent response in America in so many ways, from children taunting Mexican-American fellow students to violently rascist groups like the KKK, Stormfront, and many other hate groups coming out in public support of his poisonous bile.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/election-20 ... s-rapists/

3. He has debased every possible aspect of the presidential election, which has led to a lowering of the bar to new levels, even for the Republican party. He's repeatedly used exaggeration and flat out lies in not only the debates but also in his stump speeches. He's called for violence at his rallies and at the convention if he's denied the nomination. This is as close as we've come to a fascist demagogue in our national elections.

4. His campaign openly welcomes volunteer support from hate groups.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFyFhQkd5ik
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... affic.html

5. He has refused to learn anything about foreign policy. He is abjectly ignorant of World politics and has called for America to leave NATO, Invade Syria, go to war with Iran and many, many other foolish things.

http://www.politico.com/blogs/2016-gop- ... ser-220853

6. His views on women are bizarre, misogynistic and demeaning in the extreme. His statements towards women and women's issues are not only ignorant but simply bigoted. I won't even go into his demeaning speeches about his much younger 3rd wife who used to be a nude model or his ignorant treatment of Megyn Kelly from Fox News or how he just rated some of the female reporters at one of his press conferences based on how hot they are.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M28z9y4yT6Y

There are hundreds of reasons I could post (Trump U, his bankruptcies, how his Dad and he were repeatedly sued for not renting to black people during the 70's and 80's, etc...etc...)

You should be embarrassed that you support him and it says a lot about all of you at MM that you'd actually even consider supporting him.

I honestly don't mind if he wins, in fact I HOPE he wins the Republican nomination and then simply loses hard in the general election. It basically means the loss of the presidency to either Bernie OR Hillary by at least 10% of the popular vote. It means the loss of the Senate and possibly the house as polls are showing that around 30% of Republicans will refuse to vote for him and that'll reflect on the down ticket candidates on the Republican ticket. In fact his nomination or denial at the Republican convention could very well destroy the Republican party as we know it and damage their brand for a generation with Latino and moderate voters.

The only reason I'm fighting his nomination is that there is a very, very small, minute but real chance at either a massive major terrorist attack or increasingly unlikely massive drop in the economy that might scare enough people into voting for this fascist small fingered vulgarian and that infinitesimally small chance is what I'm fighting against. That puny possibility is how fascism destroys America in another timeline of this universe and I'm fighting it now in case something happens, god forbid.

All I really know is that Trump is, as he has been accused of being, a con man. Any way it rolls out, I don't like the thought of Trump or Clinton in office. If I vote for trump though, it will be because I honestly think he can bring about the end of the world, which would be absolutely glorious.
I thought this thread was supposed to be about claeyt though ._.

I am chaos, the destroyer of worlds. :D

Clinton is the Democrats' Nixon, Trump is Berlusconi with more fascism and less brains who will have the ability to launch nuclear weapons. I'd much rather have a Nixon without the felonies and only a couple of misdemeanors in the presidency than a con-man like Trump.

The only good thing I can see coming from Trump getting it would be showing the US, and the world, just how bad it can get and waking people the ***** up into realizing politics isn't a reality show and has real consequences to people's lives.

I'm not sure whether I'd want to spend the 4 (hopefully he gets assassinated before the full term by -someone- he picks a fight with) years abroad to escape the disaster or back in the US to avoid the excruciating shame of being identified as someone from somewhere that actually elected someone so unflinchingly despicable.

Claeyt's said a lot of dumb stuff over the years (sorry) but the points he makes are mostly valid and objective fact, it's kind of stunning to me how someone could come to terms with all of that and decide he's still better than the other options.

If Clinton get's the dem nomination though... It would be pretty terrible to see her get the win as that would almost certainly lead to economic disaster if her history means anything, but we've shown ourselves to be pretty capable of riding out economic troubles... I'm not sure trading that for social ruin is a good choice when people are already pissed as hell.

I know conservative unchecked capitalism is cool with the Salem crowd and all, but if Bernie managed to somehow squeek by Clinton I would be so happy and so proud for once in my life... but those goddamn southern states and their goddamn Clinton fetishisms, don't think it's gonna quite happen.
