I'd say Claeyt's numbers are about right for a hermit or village's hunter who never does PvP and only ever fights animals. For a normal hunter, 150 will do and for a darkness hunter, 600 is good.

But when it comes to raiding or PvP and the humors, equipment, and strategy required, any info you can squeeze out of Darwoth is probably going to be good info.

I also suggest posting in Help next time if you want to be sure of a serious answer.

Once you get to 250 or so you start to be useful
once you get to 600 you start to be super useful
once you get to 800 you should probably have already started a second character and gotten it to 600

so bscly my point is having a few 200-600 stat toons will prove to be more useful than a 900 stat toon that you build piles or clamps with

however I am the type that like to split my investments up. Don't want to lose everything all at once ya know
