In the continuing FBI investigation into Russian ties to the Trump administration it's coming out today that NSA director Flynn lied to the FBI and to congress when he denied talking about ending sanctions with the Russian ambassador in the months before Trump took office.

This violates the Logan act and could also be grounds for Obstruction of Justice.

Leaks are present within every administration since G Washington's. All your doing is pointing out liberal swash that is being dug up, spun around and redirected in a manor you understand to be a leak, especially something printed in the well known liberal W. Post.

It's hard to take anything the WP says seriously anymore. They've lied so many times, just bald-faced lies, that I fully expect 'corrections' and rewrites every time they put out an article. Making Trump look bad has become more important to them than the truth.

They tried to make Sonny Perdue (agri sec) out to be an anti-science nut job because he once prayed for rain during a drought.
They reported a BB gun as a "black .45 caliber Umarex HDG handgun"
In a hat-trick of fake news, WP's John Rogin lied outright that there had been a 'mass exodus' of senior foreign service officers, when in fact it is a routine thing for those people to resign for a new administration, and there were only 4.
There was the whole ACCESS AACCESS debacle where he tried to accuse Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of being in the pay of Syria.
And he published a complete fabrication that there was a White House Cabinet battle over the immigration order. WP has so far added three corrections and completely rewritten the article itself.
They claimed that Trump had threatened to invade Mexico and then had to make an embarrassing correction.

And that's just a few of the lies from the WP, there are others from them and even more from all the MSM combined. For example, the ridiculous and completely disproven Fascism Forever lie.

Well lets debunk your Alex Jones and Sean Hannity talking points one by one.

1. They did NOT disparage Sony Perdue much at all. They're article on him was fair and level as they come and as he clearly passed his confirmation there was little to no controversy compared to Trump's more idiotic picks.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... 0443d43593

2. The 'Daily Caller' (a blog) article criticizes the Washington Post (actual news) for listing an air gun as a gun confiscated in their local police report and then turns around and shows that it was listed as a gun by the Washington Metro PD and that's where they must have gotten it from. So you're saying that the Washington Post is not real news because they quoted a list of guns provided by the WMPD (and probably a single officer somewhere) listing an air gun as a gun. Whatever.

3. There WAS a mass exodus of senior State Department personnel. It was the largest departure of senior personnel at the State Department EVER. It is routine to see ambassadors and political appointees leave (although even here Trump's dumping them all at once is unprecedented) it is NOT routine to see career State Department personnel leave like this. Hannity himself was the one trying to tamp this down at the time. Both the Obama and Bush state department personnel were shocked to see that many go. They have not retracted any of this and they haven't retracted the later article about how they were actually fired and did not resign as was reported by sources within the State Department. Hannity is lying to you.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/jos ... 82d1b0404d

4. I have no idea what article you are talking about with Tulsi Gabbard. She has been criticized by many because of her trip to Syria.

5. There absolutely was chaos in the cabinet over the immigration order. HS sec. Kelly just testified today that although he had been handed a draft of it, he had no input and only had a 24 hour warning to the final draft and actions of the order. Many, many legitimate news sources have reported that Tillerson, Kelly and others limited the scope of the order after the chaos started against the wishes of Bannon and Miller. This is again a Hannity nonsense fake news attack on them that I've heard him spout with no proof. The NYT, CNN and all other legitimate sources I've seen reported similar conflicts within the cabinet that weekend.

6. CNN was the first to report about the "invasion of mexico". The Mexican president came out the next day and confirmed the transcript they reported but then said Trump had been joking when he said it. Even if he was joking it's a stupid thing to say.

__________________________________________________________

Over and over you can quote Hannity and other ***** artists on the right but that doesn't deny the FACT that actual news sources like the WP, NYT, CNN and all other "fake news" as you call it is actually real. You look silly, brainwashed and uninformed when you spout his nonsense because he said it first. Opinion is not fact, read a newspaper. If it seems like they're against Trump it's because his administration is chaotic, acting like idiots and failing so far. Don't blame the messenger if Trump looks like an idiot, maybe he really is an idiot and you're in denial.

Wow, they changed it. The original headline read: "Trump picks former Georgia governor Sonny Perdue, who once led a prayer for rain, for agriculture secretary". I'm beginning to miss hard copy, you had to stand by your word when you couldn't change it.

2. ... it was listed as a gun by the Washington Metro PD and that's where they must have gotten it from. So you're saying that the Washington Post is not real news because they quoted a list of guns provided by the WMPD (and probably a single officer somewhere) listing an air gun as a gun.

I'm saying it's one example of many where they are so eager to get out an inflammatory story that they don't even pause to check the facts. I don't know how or why the gun was misidentified by WMPD, but even someone with a glancing knowledge of firearms would have found that name odd. They could have verified the make and model of that 'gun' with a 5 second Google search and not looked like complete fools.

Nope, I just looked again and can find nothing supporting your statements and a lot of articles saying over and over that this was a handful of people in one branch of a large department (I found an org chart that supported that too), and that this is a routine thing that just happened a little more quickly than it usually does. I looked up Hannity; he has a show on Fox, I don't watch it.

4. I have no idea what article you are talking about with Tulsi Gabbard. She has been criticized by many because of her trip to Syria.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... ed73f0c195

It has been heavily rewritten since its original publication. She was accused of having her trip entirely funded by Assad while claiming that ACCESS, a defunct organization, had paid for it and that she therefore is a Syrian mouthpiece. In fact, the trip was funded by AACCESS, an entirely different organization which is still active.

No, there is no chaos in the cabinet or elsewhere, only in the minds of the press. And those many 'legitimate' news sources are all copy/pasting each other with very little investigation. It's been happening so much lately, I guess you're starting to think it's normal? But we've already been over this one, it WAS incompetently rolled out, but the confusion only lasted a few hours and a hundred or so people trying to come in to the country were inconvenienced during that time.

6. CNN was the first to report about the "invasion of mexico". The Mexican president came out the next day and confirmed the transcript they reported but then said Trump had been joking when he said it. Even if he was joking it's a stupid thing to say.

Oh, if CNN was the first to lie about it, I guess that makes it okay? Trump was offering Mexico help.

actual news sources like the WP, NYT, CNN and all other "fake news" as you call it is actually real. ... If it seems like they're against Trump it's because his administration is chaotic, acting like idiots and failing so far. Don't blame the messenger if Trump looks like an idiot, maybe he really is an idiot and you're in denial.

I'm not saying they themselves are "fake". I'm saying they are printing a large proportion of lies, misdirections, misinformation, lies of omission, and half-truths lately, especially when it comes to Trump. It's sad what journalistic integrity has come to these days and I would very much prefer to be able to watch CNN again and not have to question every thing I see. I used to watch them fairly often, but now I don't watch any TV news.

Trump's administration is not chaotic, they're not acting like idiots, and they are not at all failing. Much of that so-called chaos and idiocy is being invented by the various media outlets. They actually seem to be trying their best to outright undermine him. I've even seen a few articles asking questions like whether it might be a good idea to just assassinate him, which is entirely a reprehensible thing to publish. Meanwhile, the general public approve of his policies and what he's doing. Do you really think this enormously successful man can be an idiot? He didn't just stumble in to best-selling books, billions of dollars in assets, TV fame, and the presidency.

I also saw a thing, but forgot to save it, that said some company mentioned in your ridiculous dossier is suing buzzfeed for libel. I'll have to try to find it again.

Further updates on the Flynn go between with Russian envoy. Flynn backtracked to say he "no longer recollects" about lying to congress. Democratic members of the Congressional Intelligence committee are calling for his resignation

NYT article on him lying to the press and to congress. It also describes how much he's in over his head.

Congressional intelligence committee members calling for his resignation.

No one gives a ***** if someone lied to the press, and those articles say nothing about him lying to congress. There's also a great deal of ***** in both articles, but I'm sure the truth will come out eventually. I'm certainly not opposed to him being fired if his actions merit it.

They did not change it. You're thinking of an opinion piece they ran by someone about that time if I remember right. I'll look for it, but this is the main article they had on him.

This is a local police story. This article had almost zero to do with anything nationally except trying to show an increase in gun seizures in DC. They quoted DCPD's list. DCPD's list included the airgun as a gun. Why is this a thing even? Where are you getting that this is somehow a thing? What right wing nonsense site/mouthpiece are you getting this from?

Here's the Joe Rogin opinion piece:

It WAS the largest firing/resignation of top State department aides ever.

Here's a a non-opinion piece about it:

You keep saying they are "rewriting" these articles but that's not true. If they edit it, they say so on the bottom of the article. I think you're misunderstanding how this works.

Maybe you don't know what an Opinion section is. Maybe you're not understanding their 'Opinion' section versus their main section. Most of these articles you're posting are clearly labeled 'Opinion' section. Their opinion pieces ARE part of the Washington Post but they're not full news articles. They are the opinion and political of the writer. They always have republican and conservative opinion writers on them as well. David Brooks, George Will, Charles Krauthammer and Joe Scarborough are all conservative opinion writers either on staff or contributing writers to the Washington Post.

If every single national newspaper, cable news channel and news magazine is reporting on the chaos within the Trump administration then there is chaos within the administration. Why are you denying this? Even Kelly is saying in open testimony he was not part of the roll out and that it was handled badly.

If you disagree with what every legitimate news source in the country is saying about Trump and think they are "lying" to the American people, the problem isn't with them, it's with you. Where are you getting your news from? Are you embarrassed to tell us? You've quoted at least 3 Hannity "FakNoo" attacks on the WaPost so far here. If you're not getting them from him you must be getting them second hand from somewhere.

No legitimate news source is talking about assassination. That is a lie. If every news source seems to be against him except FOX and Alex Jones maybe the "news" is not the problem. Maybe they're pointing out his mistakes and actions that threaten the welfare of our country. Maybe he and his administration are in so far over their head and screwing up so much that they are proving they were unfit for office from the beginning. The messenger is not the problem if the message is bad news.

The general public DOES NOT APPROVE of what he is doing. That is a lie. Every poll has him underwater. I posted that earlier and you saw it. Why are you unable to believe FACTS that are right in front of your face. Are you that hypnotized by his nonsense that you are no longer capable of rational thought. Do the crowds REALLY look bigger than Obama's to you? If you are unable to discern fact from reality even when it's put right in front of you, then you are delusionally following an authoritarian shuckster just like all those 'good germans' and 'loyal italians' before you. I highly recommend you take a step back and regain your cognitive dissonance (if you ever had it in the first place) and realize that he is not a great leader and not fit for the presidency.
