Why do you ask?
Changes are coming so slowly, the game went back months in development with the purity nerf. Anyone that has actively raided in the last two months knows how overpowered defenses are. With the current system 20 braziers HV's will become impregnable fortresses for years to come. You can make a character off 0% purity foods to 150 biles in a couple of weeks. Or you can spend hundreds and hundreds, probably thousand+ hours grinding this crap with 0% humus on a fresh server for a 200 bile character. There are NO game motivations to try out ANY of this backwards nonsense industry additions. A wipe in the games current state will be a bunch of un-raidable towns and claims with an un-fun piece of **** farming/industry system. People don't understand, NO ONE will be able to dominate the server there will be NO PvP or sieges because NO ONE will have characters able to tank more than 3 braziers.
Yeah Candy Gang has 'titan' characters but it's the only reason we are still playing. Production facilities have been untouched for almost a month now, no one plays the game outside of making raid food and rangering. The worst thing is, most of the people crying about a server restart are terribad forum posters that suck at the game to begin with and just troll on the forums. They wouldn't even play on a server restart.
I'm pretty much new to the game and only reading the forum, so I don't know who you are.
but too me you sound like the fat ugly three-year-old that was ordered to share his chocolate with the other kids.
as for the topic:
the combination of 'ever lasting' progression and perma death makes it rather hard and frustrating for new players.
now of course that's what we are here for.
but imagine a new player who gets killed by a raider, he may think "wow i want to become as strong as him" maybe to defend, maybe to go raiding himself.
yet if he clicks the forum he will pretty soon find out that he actually can't ever reach this point.
now I'm pretty sure he won't be very motivated anymore, for this status is as far away from skill-based or strategy-based as it could possibly ever get.
