Last but not least, Josh has assured us that combat is in no way in it's final form and will evolve throughout beta to it's final form. One of the "features" of the game is that starting with beta, the Community will throw out ideas and the ones with the most votes will be implamented so if everyone dislikes the combat, we can vote to try a new form or totally revamp it....

The most valid part..... Anyway. Not everyone is going to like or want to play the game.

jwhitehorn: Your statistics are accurate, we indeed have a much smaller community than Salem. However, we have only been visible for the last couple months, and I think in a year or so we will be much more popular. I think it's admirable that you hold your place in Salem and it appears that you are dominant member of the community. However, does it really hurt to have another game out there that offers a different playing field? You seem very competitive, and I challenge you to conquer the Topia world and community with the same prowess you exert in Salem. I think that if we can get the ball rolling in Topia, it will give you a massive playing field with much more freedom than Salem can offer. That's why I would encourage you to not be so forthcoming with your assaults. With the community's help, we can create a game that is worth stomping around in.

PeePooKaKa, your terms are extremely tempting, but is 'fido' really the most creative name you could come up with? We are not blatently advertising, we received express permission from the moderators to post about the game. Also, I am curious as to how the MM Tribe fuels Salem's future. Do you bring more players to the game, or do you turn them away? I am not asking anyone to 'defect' to Topia. I am simply saying that it is something that you can play when you need a break from other games. My own attention span enforces that I don't always stay faithful to any one game, I hop around as new patches and content are release. I would be happy to un-ban you as long as you do not continually register multiple accounts. I dont mind if you trash-talk on the forums as long as you don't hide behind different usernames to do it.

Shannon hates doing voice overs. We are going to stop doing voice overs at all because everyone in our team sucks at them, especially me. Garrott refuses to cut his hair, we've all tried to force him, trust me. Combat is real-time. Why are you so opposed to scripts? I don't think they will give anyone an unfair advantage. The large package on Kickstarter is for guilds. How large is your guild? If you combine your pledge it might be possible for you to receive it.

Anyone who has doubts should join the skype convo and ask questions. Even the complaint that trojanz had isn't a problem at all once you see the big picture. I still am not liking the combat that much but I understand why it is and I'll have to get a feel for it b4 i can make a judgement.
