It probably won't be put on Steam. I think we all agree with you there. But that doesn't mean it SHOULDN'T be.

By the way, for anyone wondering, there are around 100 or fewer players on each server right now. 270 players total. At 2pm EST on a Friday. One month ago at this time on a Friday there would have been around 470 players. I don't want to sound alarmist or anything, but I think it's time for the devs to do something drastic. Either wipe the servers, release some huge content patches, list the game on Steam, or else the trend will continue.

the ideal time for it to be put on Steam if it were an option, I would guess when there are new worlds / purity is about done.

+1 for Truth. I wonder if they'll lower my stall fees since there are probably only 25 people running 2-3 characters apiece on the server tonight. How the hell am I supposed to make 1000s a week with only 50-60 people ever playing the game.

Delete the stalls and refund their owners for the initial stall cost. Problem fixed.

Finish the game, list in on Steam, wipe the servers. I will be back and so will thousands of others.

I think we really need to see some sort of server merger. Each and every time I look at the Salem numbers they seem to be lower then the last time. On the other hand I check out HnH activity and see they seem to be on the rise.

At this point a new server would go far towards making some of us happy, but it would also piss off a lot of the existing player base, more so the ones who have invested all the time/money to get to the top of the pack. This leads me to believe the only real way of fixing this would be to merge the current servers (maps) while adding the ability to expand the map further, as/if needed. The newest zone/map would be flagged as such and the wilderness guides would allow new players to teleport to the "newbie zone" or to one of the existing, older, more established maps. Maybe with an expanded, much larger map we could get access to those mounts that I have seen in every single Salem video for the last year, yet still are not in game.

For all I know it may be "impossible" from a technical perspective with their current server infrastructure, but it seems that something drastic needs to happen both in terms of the upcoming patches/balance changes and overall the direction this game is going.
