There is a difference here, between being logged in - that means you have access - being logged into a character in game, means you have access, or control, over that character, and a character still showing to other players in the game world.
If you are playing, you are logged in, and then close the client, you are logged out. You no longer have access.
At that point, the server can be programmed to keep your character in game for any length of time. That character existing in game is NOT you being logged in.
It is extremely basic to be able to tell there is a difference. But most people associate the character with the person, and don't know how to think about the problem in these terms.
We all agree there is a difference. However that was not what was stated. The fact that you seem to think you are the only one or only those who study computer science(Makes me laugh out loud irl just thinking bout it) Who understand the difference and should explain it to us is hilariously flawed. The only thing you have going for your argument is that logged in can mean lots of things. However everyone xcept the losing party,Clayet & you seem to think it meant something else.
Its not me whos stupid its everyone else must be your motto huh?
