Yep, you're about as right as you can get.

The mechanics aren't broken so much as they've been made different to address some issue from the past. Gluttony can get very grindy late game with massive time delays between gluttony sessions. Most of these people are ***** because you used to be able to get to 500-1000 humours and now the soft cap will really start to slow you down when you get over 100. The maximum amount I see people getting to is 300-400 with a year of gluttony sessions. Many of the old players are pissed about this. Late game mechanics are pretty slim once you've done everything. It mostly consists of hunting people, hunting agropelters, gluttony sessions and trying to slot the perfect clothing set. I also map and trade so I'm not as bored as some of these guys.

The game isn't as bad as they make it out to be and it seems that it's impossible to kill it so have fun EZ it's a nifty little indi game.

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.

inb4 jorb shuts thread down

(I'd just close it off hand and site precedent, but who am I to stop people expressing their opinions? Besides, that precedent does require the godhead to come in and say "No, it's never going back.")

A petition against jorb and loftar? Probably a good way to ensure they never develop the game again
