Why in the hell people think this statement is so impossible?

I think it is very possible, simply because it will take 2 more wipes to fix new gluttony ;)
I fear to think how many wipes we will need to fix witchcraft when it will be added

I think people would enjoy the game more if it was based around season-wise wipes. Like 6 month rotation. That way the "grind" doesnt need to be kept as high and people take more risks.

I agree. At this point Salem is no longer a MMO... its more of a Web-based "season" game like Travian and should simply have "rounds" that last a pre-defined amount of time.

True story. You can email him if you don't believe those words. Although they were stated when Paradox was the publisher.

It is still a MMO. A MMO doesn't need to be indefinitely persistent to be a MMO, it just need to be a "Massively Multiplayer Online" game. It would be different compared to what it is now in the sense that instead of having no sure date for when the round ends, we would have a sure date.

Having a set date, gives the players and devs time to prepare for the inevitable and do the changes they seem fit before next round. Do you really think that next Salem round will last more than 2 years? Jorbtar are experimenting, they are likely to find yet another reason to wipe, just like in H&H.
