Why are the forums funner than the game?

Because any sandbox game worth a damn is only as good as the players are innovative. Since the game is somewhat gimped in its current state the forums serve as a creative/outrageous outlet for all the whims and desires of the restless masses.
Also, Dallane. Ain't no one more disappointed than me to admit that.

I find it odd that the last two options basically mean the same thing.
To me, the forum is only a source of information and a way to give feedback. And, of course, an outlet for some people to air their misery/laundry/bizarre (sometimes offensive) humour.

I did that to allow those who do not think the forums are funner than the game the same option to pick 2. Clicking 2 boxes is always funner than clicking 1, and I did not want to deprive them of that.
